The Armenian alphabet was created in 405 AD by the monk and scholar Mesrop Mashtots. It is one of the few alphabets in the world invented by a single person, and has preserved the Armenian language, literature, and cultural identity for over 1,600 years. In 2015, UNESCO inscribed the Armenian manuscript tradition on its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

This silk scarf features all 38 letters of the Armenian alphabet set within a lush, illustrated garden scene — inspired by the rich tradition of Armenian illuminated manuscripts. Exotic birds, peacocks, pomegranates, and blooming flowers surround each letter, bringing the ancient script to life in vivid royal blue, red, and gold.
